Our classic tour involves a 40 mile ride, cycling past Killiecrankie and Blair Atholl Castle. We follow a beautiful burn (stream) through a highland glen, with plenty of opportunity for spotting highland wildlife such as the red squirrrel and red deer. We find a delightful highland cafe serving soups and cakes, scones, tea and other delights. We cycle the shores of Loch Tummel to bring us back to Pitclochry. Pitlochry is a 1hr 50 min picturesque train ride from Edinburgh.
-
A half day easy, but stunning circuit around Loch Tummel. 27 miles takes in fantastic loch and mountain scenery including the famous Queen's view and views of Schiehallion (fairy mountain). This circuit is on small, quiet roads but is popular in the summer which means you should be comfortable being passed by cars and the occasional tour bus.
-
A full day circuit taking in Loch Tummel and Loch Rannoch including a chance to have a stop at the cafe at Rannoch Station where the road ends and the train sets off across Rannoch Moor. This whole circuit is 74 miles. We can arrange this as a two day tour if preferred.
All of these tours start and finish in Pitlochry.
